Trump posts AI-generated video with his vision for Gaza

President Donald Trump recently shared an AI-generated video depicting the transformation of the Gaza Strip into a luxurious resort bearing his name.

This comes shortly after he appeared to backtrack on his previous proposal to relocate the Palestinian population and establish U.S. control over the territory.

The origin of the video remains unclear, and President Trump did not provide any comments when sharing it. Similar versions have surfaced on platforms such as LinkedIn, X, and Instagram in recent weeks.

The version shared by President Trump appears to have been sourced from Rumble, a Florida-based video platform popular among patriotic audiences.

ā€œItā€™s a fantasy,ā€ said Ahmed al-Soufi, the mayor of Rafah, a city in southern Gaza where many displaced people live in tents among the rubble. ā€œIf Mr. Trump wants to give Palestinians a place to live with dignity and a future, he should give them a state alongside Israel.ā€

The video begins with scenes of individuals, including armed men, walking through war-ravaged streets, then transitions to images of beachfront development and luxury.

Notable scenes include a child holding a balloon resembling President Trumpā€™s head, a giant golden statue of the president, and a man throwing money on a beach. Some AI-generated anomalies are evident, such as a man resembling Elon Musk eating bread.

Other scenes show bearded belly dancers on a beach, President Trump dancing with a woman in a nightclub, and President Trump alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, both shirtless by a pool with drinks.

In early February, President Trump proposed that the U.S. take control of Gaza and relocate its approximately two million Palestinian residents to countries such as Egypt and Jordan.

The leaders of these nations swiftly rejected the plan, and experts highlighted that deporting or forcibly transferring a civilian population constitutes a violation of international humanitarian law, amounting to a war crime and a crime against humanity.
